Purpose & Benefits
The Afikim Ultra lite Wheelchair is one of the lightest wheelchairs on the market. It is made with high quality materials that makes it easy to propel and push.
This Ultralite wheelchair is a perfect travelling companion and makes it a breeze to get in and out of the car. It can be folded down into a compact package by folding the backrest down and then pulling the middle of the seat up.
Optional quick-release wheels allow a caregiver to remove the larger rear wheels with the push of the button. Once you arrive at your destination, unfolding and attaching the wheels takes less than a minute.
Standard features include wheel locks at the front of the frame which can be easily reached by the user. Wheel locks prevent the wheelchair from rolling forward or backward.
Additionally, there is an integrated braking system operated by bicycle style locking brake levers located at the push handles for the carer.
These handbrakes provide the caregiver control, security, and convenience when descending or pausing on a slope.
